PC Input Overview
PC is the precision platform for Tides of Fortune naval combat. Mouse-driven cannon aiming provides superior accuracy compared to controller stick input, and keyboard sail management enables rapid state changes during intense engagements. Competitive PvP fleets overwhelmingly favor PC captains for damage-dealing roles.
Standard ARK PC conventions carry over: WASD for character movement on deck, mouse look for camera control, E for interact, and Tab for inventory. Naval controls layer on top with dedicated keys for sail trim, anchor, cannon aim/fire, and active ability activation.
Rebind keys through ARK's settings menu to match your preferences. Many experienced captains rebind cannon fire to mouse buttons for aim-and-fire fluidity.
Sailing Key Bindings
