Summer Bash 2026 — Event Guide
ARK Summer Bash 2026 guide for Tides of Fortune players — 2× boosted rates, event cosmetics, Popsicle crafting, optimal taming windows for Tidepup and Parrot, and milestone farming tips.
Summer Bash 2026 Overview
Community Crunch 515 (July 17, 2026) officially launched Summer Bash on official servers — running through August 5, 2026. As of July 20, the event is in its opening week with nearly two and a half weeks of boosted rates remaining. Server v91.18 (July 14) fixed Kairuku overspawn on The Center for more consistent Popsicle farming.
CC515 brought the largest Summer Bash content drop in years: new Bounce House Tileset, inflatable base furnishings, dino balloons, Balloon weapon skins, Shark Costume, Jelly Sandals, and dozens of returning swimwear variants. Activate event mod ID 927091 on private servers via -mods=927091.
Summer Bash is a base-game event, but 2× taming and breeding rates directly benefit Tides of Fortune owners grinding Tidepup, Parrot, and Genesis milestones for Ship Skill points.
Boosted Server Rates
During Summer Bash, official servers run elevated rate multipliers. Based on the established annual event format: PvP/PvE servers receive 2× Harvesting, Taming, Experience, and Breeding. Small Tribes servers receive 4.5× Harvesting, Taming, and Experience plus 4× Breeding. ARKpocalypse servers receive 5× across all boosted categories.
For Tides of Fortune players, the taming multiplier is the highest-value boost. Tidepup's compassion-based taming and Parrot's Alpha hunt affinity both complete faster under 2× rates. Brigantine resource gathering for ship upgrades also accelerates under boosted harvesting.
Plan your Summer Bash schedule around rate windows. Prioritize companion taming sessions, milestone grinding, and resource stockpiling for ship ammunition crafting before the event ends.
Event Cosmetics and Crafting
Summer Bash 2026 introduces seasonal cosmetics craftable with Popsicles from Slidy 'N Slippery Kairuku event creatures (5–8 Popsicles per kill). CC515 added major new items: Bounce House Tileset, Inflato Bookshelf and Storage Boxes, Bounce Sofa and Couch, Rex/Bronto/Stego Balloons, Balloon Tek Rifle, Shark Costume, Jelly Sandals, Life Vest & Water Wings, and Balloon Animal emote.
Returning favorites include Gone Fishin swimsuit sets, Fishing Chair, Tackle Box, Squirt Gun turrets, Flower Crown Hat, summer emotes (This Big, Sit, Air Guitar), and extensive swimwear color variants. These base-game cosmetics pair with Tides of Fortune pirate outfits for harbor base theming during the event.
Craft desired items before August 5 — boosted rates and Kairuku spawns end with the event. Popsicles and crafted cosmetics may persist in inventory afterward.
Tides of Fortune Event Strategy
Week 1 (July 17–24): Use 2× taming to secure Tidepup and Parrot. Start Genesis milestones at 2× XP. Build your first Brigantine with boosted harvesting.
Week 2–3 (July 25 – August 5): Farm specialist ammunition, run Ocean Outpost raids, and complete harbor structures (Market, Bounty Board, Aquarium). Chain treasure routes with Parrot's Treasure Tracker.
New official Genesis Part 1 servers are now live (opened July 20 evening PT per CC515) — fresh PvP/PvE populations accelerate naval meta discovery on clean clusters.
What Comes After Summer Bash
